Yes, she LOVES being naked! This is an everyday excitement before bathtime!
We visited the pediatrician on Monday, a few days earlier than scheduled, because we are fighting a double ear infection. Unfortunately, she's related to her mother with her ears and sinus; we'll see about allergies later. Luckily, you would never know she's sick unless you live in our house during the nighttime. She doesn't show the symptoms of a reduced appetite, or slowing down during play time, or running fever. She didn't grow any in height this month, and actually lost weight. We went from the 50th percentile down to the 10th, but the pediatrician said we are just fine.
Please don't worry, we aren't starving our little one. Most meals, I think she eats more than I do, and we have moved onto the finger foods. She's pretty much bored with baby food, and loves her little Gerber stars, watermelon cubes, strawberries, or anything else she can shovel in her mouth. I've made a large majority of her baby food thus far, and I'll still continue to make some of her fruits and veggies, but I think we are done with the puree setting on the blender and ice cube trays. She'll have to settle for the stage 3 foods for now, because I'm not mashing up lasagna or spaghetti! She's ready for the real deal, but she still has no teeth. Again, she's taking after her mother. I didn't cut my first tooth until my first birthday, and we have a history of late dental work on my side. My dad pulled my mom's last baby tooth after they were married (they were both 20 years old). Also, my brother, 25 yrs old, just had a baby tooth pulled at the dentist just weeks ago.
She's gotten busted for trying to play with the faucet! Such a ham!
