As usual, I'm behind on posting, but luckily I have plenty of cute pictures. Yes, this begins back at Memorial Day weekend, when we visited my parents in Hattiesburg. We had a great time, but Riley really out performed. As you will see, she is what we would describe as a "happy" child! No kidding, she keeps her mouth in a state of open, just waiting for the next squeal, laugh, screech, or whatever noise she discovers. Chris and I are constantly laughing at her or with her sometimes because she is just so cute. (Yes, I realize we might be just a little partial!)
Here we are helping do the dishes.Juice is so exciting.
Dressed and ready to go to church.
Playing with Granddaddy's feet, and posing for the camera.
She literally fell face forward asleep after playing so hard. Her granddaddy was holding her on the couch, and she just fell asleep. So sweet!
So, after our fun trip to
Hattiesburg, we've been busy here in
Collierville. Luckily, the weather has warmed up, and Riley got to experience her first time in a swimming pool the other afternoon. The water was a little cold, but she enjoyed splashing around for a few minutes.
Chris has been very busy umpiring this spring and summer. He and his friend
Cager are a duo, and will work up to 14 games per week! They have been doing 2 nights a week here in
Collierville for rec ball, and the weekends they work in
Southaven for competitive tournaments. Riley and I went to the
Collierville park last night to see daddy in action.
This is our new smile. She's gone from mouth wide open to this cute grin. I love it!
If you look closely, you can see my 2 bottom teeth!
