Even though she was 6 weeks old when I was finally able to get these done, at least I got them done! Somehow, life is a little busier these days!
I mentioned our meltdown. See her class parade below. That's me, in the gray shirt, behind the line of kids holding Riley, because she was having none of it that morning. Poor girl.
In Riley's in-home daycare (M-W-F), they made Halloween shirts, and Kimberley was nice enough to make one for Katherine, so they would have matching shirts. You can't see Riley's all that well, but she uses their fingers as the pumpkins, and then finishes them up with the vines and names. Too cute! Riley insisted on wearing hers multiple times throughout the week.
Renee and Wayne, better known as Naynay and Pop came up to watch her trick-or-treat. Here they are decorating cookies.

Katherine turned 1 month old today. We were at the doctor's office on Friday with some reflux/stomach issues, and she weighed in at 9 lbs, 8 oz. She's gained almost 3 pounds in a month! CRAZY! We measured her at home, 21.5 in, so the length could vary slightly. She was 20.5 at birth.
They had pumpkin painting. Riley is becoming quite the artist at her daycare 3 days a week. She comes home with all sorts of artwork, so she enjoyed this activity.
Nana B spending some quality cuddling time with KG.
Nana B and her 2 girls. Riley is still a big helper.
Riley has learned to "show your teeth" while taking pictures and saying "cheese". Precious! Katherine is showing off her skinny legs and feet!
Have I mentioned we have a diva? I can't say enough good things as to how Riley has adapted to "baby".

Riley, being the child of order that she is, she constantly is aware that Katherine's pacifier needs to be with her, or in her mouth at all times, the baby blanket is supposed to cover her up, not lay around. My boppy pillow belongs next to her. And she's a big help with diaper changes, etc. Riley has adjusted very well so far. I'm sure we'll have our moments, but thus far, she's done great at her new role!
